REMINDER: Cruz Called SCOTUS Decision Protecting Same-Sex Marriage “Clearly Wrong”

AUSTIN, Texas – On June 26th, 2015, the Supreme Court guaranteed marriage equality in its landmark Obergefell v. Hodges ruling – which “has had a profound effect” for the tens of thousands of same-sex couples in Texas who are now married.

Ted Cruz, “a longtime opponent of same-sex marriage,” believes “that decision was clearly wrong.

As Supreme Court justices warn the public that “the court is on the way to undermining marriage rights for same-sex couples,” Texans deserve a senator who will work to protect their freedoms – not take them away.
