Overall, Republican turnout from 2016 in the top 15 counties remained stagnant while Democratic turnout rose significantly.
Other findings include:

Steep Democratic rise in Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and Collin Counties.

Democrats outvoted Republicans in the battleground of Tarrant County.

Over 54,000 more Democrats voted in Harris County than in 2016.

Bexar County turnout nearly doubled from 2016, with 90,162 early voters.

“Turnout for Texas Democrats has skyrocketed and exceeded our expectations, with over 1 million voters in the early vote. Texas Democrats are fired up, energized, and ready to win in November.
“This is our moment. We have strong candidates across the state who are fighting for better healthcare access, quality jobs, and a first-class, Texas education that empowers our children to get ahead. Texas Democrats are fighting for this because our values are Texas values.
“Texas is the biggest battleground state in the country. Our movement will win the White House, take out John Cornyn, flip Congressional seats, break the supermajority in the Texas Senate, take back the Texas House, and win hundreds of local races across the state.”
