AUSTIN, Texas – Today, Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa held a press call ahead of Donald Trump’s rally in Houston. During the call, Chair Hinojosa called out Donald Trump for his failed MAGAnomics agenda that would leave hardworking Texas families behind.

We know his rally will likely consist of him standing on stage and telling a string of lies about his record on everything from energy independence to the economy. Donald Trump’s presence here today is a haunting reminder of just how bad things can get when our leadership fails to prioritize the needs of hardworking Americans,” said Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa. “For four years we watched as he left hardworking middle-class Texas families behind while he cut deals that served the ultra-wealthy and corporations.
