Fox News Blasts Senate Rs Like Cruz Who Voted to Block Border Legislation
AUSTIN, Texas – This week Fox News’ Neil Cavuto, in an interview with conservative Senator James Lankford (R-OK), blasted Senate Republicans like Ted Cruz who voted against the bipartisan border security bill.
Cavuto: “It’s your colleagues in your party, sir, who torpedoed this [bill] – who didn’t get the facts right on what you just outlined was in that measure. They killed it, ironically, not Democrats.”
Lankford: “Right… it was painful to be able to watch it.”
This legislation was endorsed by the U.S. Border Patrol union, and the WSJ Editorial Board declared it had “reforms Trump never came close to getting.”
Ted Cruz, however, said “We don’t need a border bill” and voted no on the bipartisan legislation.
