Allred: “One Thing About Us as Texans Is That We Believe in Freedom”
AUSTIN, Texas – This week on The Daily Show, Congressman Colin Allred underscored the harmful impacts of Texas’ abortion ban and how Texas women are experiencing what a near-total ban on abortion looks like. He emphasized the importance of electing a senator who will fight to restore the freedoms of Texas women – including the right to access an abortion.
Allred: “One thing about us as Texans is that we believe in freedom. The only way that we can restore this right to Texas women and families is at the federal level – by codifying Roe v. Wade. When I’m in the Senate, that’s what we’ll do.”
