AUSTIN, Texas – On Fox Business’ The Bottom Line, Ted Cruz made clear that he’s still planning to target the Affordable Care Act, ripping healthcare away from millions of Texans as well as protections for individuals with pre-existing conditions.
When asked whether the GOP would again set its sights on the Affordable Care Act, Cruz answered “I hope so.”
Cruz has said “No one is more committed to ending Obamacare than I am.”
More than 3.5 million Texans get coverage through the Affordable Care Act, with Texans enrolling in record numbers in 2024.
Ted Cruz shut down the government in 2013 in an attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
He also sided with Big Pharma and opposed a bipartisan effort to cap the cost of insulin for everyone at $35.
