RELEASE: Republican Party of Texas Chair Matt Rinaldi Endorses Pedophilic Enabler Jared Woodfill for State House

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Democratic Party Chairman Gilberto Hinojosa issued the following statement:

“It’s unclear how much weight the endorsement of a Nazi-sympathizer like Matt Rinaldi means in 2024 – but now Rinaldi is sinking to new lows by throwing his support behind Jared Woodfill, known associate of Paul Pressler, notorious child abuser and former Texas Republican elected official . Woodfill knew of Pressler’s history of child sexual abuse long before it became public, making Woodfill complicit in Pressler’s crimes. It’s clear that the RPT’s desperation to silence political enemies of Rinaldi has left them no other  choice but to promote child abusers, neo-Nazis and conspiracy theorists.”
