Texas Democrats Statement on President Joe Biden’s Final Address to the Nation
AUSTIN, Texas – Today, President Joe Biden will deliver his final address to the nation. As we brace for the challenges ahead under Trump and his allies, we take this moment to reflect on and celebrate the significant achievements of the Biden-Harris administration. President Biden kept his promise to create jobs and strengthen the middle class right here in the Lone Star State.
Texas Democratic Party and Texas National Delegation Chair Gilberto Hinojosa released the following statement:
“When President Biden took office, our country was in crisis—grappling with a pandemic, an economic crisis, and attacks on our democracy. Yet, with Vice President Kamala Harris by his side, President Biden’s steady leadership guided our country towards a stronger future. The Biden-Harris Administration restored millions of jobs lost under Trump, invested billions in rebuilding America’s infrastructure, and is leaving a legacy of economic growth, resilience, and opportunity for future generations.
“Our work is not done. In 2025 and beyond, Texas Democrats will build on this progress on behalf of working Texans, while standing up against Donald Trump and his Cabinet of corporate interests. Thank you, President Biden and Vice President Harris, for investing in Texas and building a thriving economy.”
