Texas Republican Dumpster Fire: Ted Cruz Won’t Stand Up for Texans

AUSTIN, Texas – Today, Ted Cruz addressed the guests and delegates at the Texas Republican Convention in San Antonio, Texas. 

Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa issued the following statement:

“Ted Cruz fits right in with Texas Republicans’ race to the bottom. His bipartisan charade isn’t fooling anyone – today Cruz reminded Texans how his support for a national abortion ban, failure to work across the aisle and secure our border, and time wasted podcasting three times a week disqualifies him for another six years in the Senate. His support for restricting womens’ freedoms, constant political gamesmanship, and self-serving ways give Texans more than enough reason to fire him in November.”
