Two Years After Dobbs Decision Leak, Texas Democrats SlamTrump’s MAGA Crusade Against Reproductive Freedom
AUSTIN, Texas – Today, Texas Democratic Party Executive Director Monique Alcala released the following statement on the second anniversary of the leak of the Supreme Court’s decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which opened the floodgates to Trump’s extreme abortion bans across the country:
“Two years ago today, women across Texas and the country learned that Donald Trump would succeed in his cruel plot to rip away their reproductive freedom – and the aftermath has been nothing short of horrific. Make no mistake: The extreme abortion bans we’re seeing take effect in state after state are a result of Trump’s plot to ban abortion nationwide. As Trump continues to boast about the role he played in overturning Roe v. Wade, there’s no doubt that he and his MAGA allies will rip away the rights of women across America if given the chance. Trump is out of touch and out of line, and in November, Texans will hold him accountable for his anti-freedom agenda.”

Trump has said it over and over again: He’ll back a national abortion ban if Elected.
Trump “proudly” killed Roe v. Wade and thinks that cruel abortion bans across the country are “working very brilliantly.”
Trump continues to take credit for overturning Roe and boasts about it any
chance he gets.
