REMINDER: Thousands of New Jobs Head to North Texas Thanks to CHIPS Act, Cruz Voted No

AUSTIN, Texas – New funding just announced from the CHIPS and Science Act will create 2,000 jobs in Sherman, supporting GlobalWafers’ North Texas semiconductor manufacturing site.

Sen. John Cornyn helped pass the bipartisan bill providing these funds. So did Rep. Colin Allred.

But Ted Cruz voted no.

From securing our border, to lowering drug costs, to investing in Texas jobs and infrastructure: Ted Cruz has proven time and time again that he will never be part of the solution.

As Allred has said, The work is being done by other people.”
